sold some classic games today to the local game shop in exchange for some switch games. I have more fondness in my heart for Wave Race 64 but chances are slim I was ever going to put that cartridge in a console again. Picked up super Mario Odyssey on @wake suggestion

It's so good! I'd had it for awhile, but really got into it when I was stuck in a hospital bed and then stuck in bed at home after my accident in May. One of the best Mario games ever, with a good bit of nostalgia thrown in.

Sometimes I want to buy console like dandy or sega or download an emulator, which is difficult, all my childhood in these games spent. I write it and realise that it's worth buying. Maybe this is the ground for future inspiration. Pixels are great, and new is well forgotten old. These games have a downside in terms of lengthening gameplay time at the expense of difficulty rather than story, gameplay, etc
