I would love to visit that area! I've watched videos of kayak adventures around that region. I usually live in Boston so no reason I shouldn't be taking trips up there now and then... But right now I'm in upstate New York bordering Canada in the thousand Islands region

oh, so the St. Lawrence flows through NY too. I lived in QC before, so I automatically thought of that. It's fantastic where it widens into a seaway or whatever that is called. They call if flueve in French.
