Day 1 of my zone 2 training. @mw is it normal to keep the same hr the entire time with a constant pace and incline (resistance)? I actually dialed it up a bit at the end because my hr was starting to drop.

1) stop using a watch to measure active HR. Get a polar H10 2) yes absolutely normal. If it was progressively increasing that wouldn’t be Z2. It SHOULD be steady state with parameters unchanged That’s a solid Z2 session 💯
