Went to an engagement party for a friend last night who’s a premium watch collector

The kind of watches that make AP look cheap

So I’m meeting a lot of people and one dude comes and motions to look at my watch

I say oh you wanna know what time it is?

He’s like no, I just want to see that

Weirdest interaction I’ve ever been a part of these people with money are absolutely blinded to reality and human interactions

I was wearing a wooden watch I got for $20 from a street vendor in Barcelona lol 

Can you imagine meeting someone and saying hello and then trying to size them up by the watch they have on?

He may be rich, but that’s pathetic
