Can someone please explain me how verification works?

One phone number is valued more than the other... Ok why?

Twitter :
Mine from 2021 with 7K follower : 400 points
This one from 2024 with 350 followers : 1200 points is it because it has the blue check or something?

I don't get how this works

I’m pretty sure a Korean phone number is one of the hardest to get since it even requires KYC. 

It won’t even let me remove the number so I can verify again with my US number, which I can get anywhere.
