Ahh right, was hoping there would be some historic data it's contents so we would be able to identify when fids come and go in trending.

Maybe you can check if all non OG fids have less than 10k followers?

Of the 100 trending posts from earlier today, yes, most trending FIDs live in  thousands to 10s of thousands of followers range.
