not sure if thatās technically true. you donāt necessarily get limited reach, you just donāt get amplified reach because some of the largest accounts here are either Base or FC employees and they arenāt going to recast or quote cast criticism. no oneās reach is algorithmically limited or shadowbanned.

yes exactly the biggest accounts on here continue to be primarily Base/FC aligned I'm not accusing anyone of algo adjustments or anything like that, it's just the reality of a social network where the most influential people want to hear a certain message until the biggest accounts on here dgaf about defending Farcaster or Base, that bias will continue

i care about growing the network with a diversity of content, including non-crypto content where the best casters donāt even know which chain is what

Get rid of the trending feed or fix it, should be low hanging fruit. It's not trending it's just what a list of influential accounts cast. Or rename it to OG smth. I think that feed is weird to new users During /europoooooor hours there's no new casts there and only when California wakes up it gets new casts again
