We should just remove it. It’s not important. Legacy product with an OG obsession.

After reading this comment I was curious how much of an OG obsession the Warpcast Trending tab has.

I fetched the trending items. It seems limited to 100 items. It's also possible ChatGPT went wrong somewhere. Anyway, I plotted a histogram of the 100 results' FIDs. If you squint, you can see a slight bias towards OGs.

Did you check the dates on the non OG FIDs? They only recently started experimenting with boosts (I think they grant temporary trending tab badges or smth)

Warpcast Experiment: Boosts! 

A boost gives your account more distribution for 24 hours. Each day, we'll give out 10 boosts to accounts that: 

- Have < 10k followers 
- Have casted recently 
- Have not received a boost recently
- Post bangers (manual judgement)

Ahh right, was hoping there would be some historic data it's contents so we would be able to identify when fids come and go in trending.

Maybe you can check if all non OG fids have less than 10k followers?

Not sure I follow - I just pulled the list of what's currently on that tab, and the FID is a rough proxy for account age
