locking fan tokens increases moxie score and farscore, enabling more earnings, which leads to # go up on fan tokens

Just more earnings for who I engage with right, not an incentive for my own fantoken? Holders will spam a fan token creator to boost their stake in that fan token?

Correct - that is still the same for Farcaster, but on Moxie.xyz - your Moxie Score (which also uses locked fan token TVL) increases your based rewards directly.
