power_badge value discrepancy

hi just noticed that I do have a power_badge according to the neynar api endpoints

both v2/user and also v2/farcaster/user/power_lite endpoints my fid is 230238

however, my fid is not in the warpcast powerbadge api results

is there an additional layer of filtering done by @warpcast which @neynar does not take into account (yet?)

as Warpcast stops updating power badge data, /neynar will move the power badge API to its own algo

small update - 

Given Warpcast will stop supporting power badges soon, we now have a backwards compatible power badge API that just returns FIDs: https://docs.neynar.com/reference/user-power-lite

No change to our existing power user api that returns fully hydrated user objects: https://docs.neynar.com/reference/power-users

Neynar algo will kick in end of this month to continue updating power users on these APIs and Dune, we will also allow you to select other providers

Nope! It will return very similar power badge fids, especially in the first few weeks.

The major difference between Neynar power badge users and Warpcast power badge users is that Neynar's currently update daily. We may change this in the future

Not sure if you can answer this but will @warpcast migrate to your data as well? As of today there are still differences in ux if you compare pb to no pb like expanded vs collapsed frames. Or will those pb/no pb differences cease to exist?

The differences will exist because Warpcast makes its own client decisions so any client that wants to do its own algorithmic ranking (like Warpcast does) is still able to do so

Don't get me wrong I'm happy there's another list I'm on but if Warpcast has a different ranking which affects the visibility of your account for 95% of the Farcaster users then what's the exact 'power' this helds. It's nice that @woj.eth shows my powerbadge now but Warpcast hides me anyway so 🤷

Warpcast doesn’t even use power badge anywhere so it’s not relevant what Warpcast returns for it imo as devs have to migrate off that endpoint anyway

we could change the name but it was easiest to continue using the same API that had the /power route 

its still signal other clients can pick up, even if Warpcast doesnt
