Setting Goals vs. Creating a System When it comes to getting things done, do you focus more on setting specific goals or creating systems to stay consistent? Strong goals can be a powerful motivator, but without a plan to execute, they can be easy to lose sight of. This is an area where I need practice. My head is full of good ideas (I think) and goals to achieve but when it comes to getting them done, sometimes I fall short. So, I thought this would be a great topic of the day, and one that I could hopefully learn a thing or two from. How do you handle this? Do you create a plan to execute on your goals or do you have another process? Tell me about it!

I focus more on creating systems to stay consistent. Goals are great for direction, but systems keep me on track every day, making progress automatic. It’s about building habits that lead to the outcome I want, instead of just aiming for the outcome itself.

But how do you do it? Do you have a process?

Absolutely, systems will keep balance with the goals if done correctly. I was absent the day they taught Balance and the day they taught patience. I am a work in progress.
