One thing I learned this year was that sleep hygiene can often be worth more than the number of hours you sleep. What's something you all have found to help with sleeping better?

I use mouth tape so only breath through nose and the difference is very noticeable.

What's wrong with breathing through your mouth while sleeping? Is that what causes snoring?

nose breathing is optimal generally, better: filtration, humidification, oxygen uptake. that's pretty much the tldr of the book "Breathe", by James Nestor re: snoring, I have a mouthpiece for that πŸ€“

What do you mean by mouthpiece? And how does that work if your mouth is already taped shut?

From what I read, there is a lot of supportive evidence; can’t be sure πŸ€”. Anecdotally, it’s great to not wake up with a dry throat at minimum.
