I have to swap the hydraulic brake calipers this weekend. 

Any tips?

I like the simplicity of rim brakes.
Disc brakes have been a pain, i have to admit

Easy to do but many quirks are possible. Lmk if you run into issues.

I don't know what I am doing, but I have worked on my own bike since years. 

My very first road bike, I built myself. 

I haven't been at a bike store for years and I don't plan to change this. 

Hopefully, I get the job done at the end 😀

Bike shop. Don’t mess with hydraulic brakes less you know what you doing. One air bubble, wrong oil etc  and breaks can easily fail. Not nice , speak from experience 😱
