Technical and product work for /coindesk stories, price pages, newsletters, podcasts, videos, Flash Headlines, mobile app, event management, and analytics. I'm going to try putting it into Figjam so it's even more of a living document that we can comment on and discuss.

Sounds like my kinda jam. I’ve always been curious - do you guys have an SEO team? Crypto is such a different animal when it comes to marketing and content creation that I wonder. I’m sure you guys do right? Is it an effective area of the business?

We do! And I know a fair bit about SEO, too. It's an ongoing challenge because search traffic to media/news continues to decline; Google would rather surface info on google.com than send traffic to a news site. And the crypto community is, IMO, generally more interested in price data than news.

We're in the middle of completely over-hauling our price pages and I'm shipping a bunch of SEO improvements with that. But any time you make major changes, it also causes a bit of a reset and inbound search traffic tanks for a while, which sucks. It makes it hard to balance improving vs. leaving it alone.

I know the feeling for sure. Maybe you can push all of the existing content that Google is familiar with down below the fold while keeping the new stuff up top (for a short time until Google analyzes and incorporates the new content)? Just a thought and something I do sometimes when overhauling a page.
