Hey @jackwyldes.eth ! I was wondering if you could give me some feedback on my camera and lighting setup + editing. In particular, my current color grading is at 2:44 in this video.
Intro and details in the video, but I wanted to include a few more details:
I've got two Neewer CB100C lights, one bouncing off the wall, because that reduced my hot spots. The bar above me is intended as a hair light and it's a YN360 III Pro. I'm editing in Davinci Resolve Studio. (Picture in the next message of my lights and camera setup.)
Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I look at a video like yours, and I think they look so much better. But my gear is comparable, and I think I should be able to get a similar outcome.
I'm currently re-recording all of my eLearning videos to improve their audio, and this setup is much better than what I had before. But I just don't feel like I've got the lighting right, and when zoomed in, it doesn't look as high-def to me as I think it ought to be. 2 replies
