Adults are the same way, but my kids also say Mondays are depressing… My son doesn't like his current school to begin with and is even more depressed. Since school itself was closed yesterday, he says he feels depressed and will be late today. There will be high school entrance exams soon, so there will be a lot of pressure. I listen to him and am more attuned to his wishes. My daughter absolutely goes to school even if she has a bad day at school. She never misses school unless she is sick. They have very different personalities, but I respect their opinions as much as possible. I don't know if this is the right way to raise children. But nothing comes from denial.

I think listening is the most important thing. I doesn't feel good when you're young and no one listens or takes you seriously. To me,, it sounds like you are a good parent. I don't have kids but I can see its a tough job sometimes. 103 $degen
