To be honest EGLD was STRONG early, imo. They really understood the assignment on reducing the friction for onboarding new people to blockchain. With the Maiar wallet the interface was clean, you had native readable handles to represent your public address; it was nice. Just lost track after the brand change lol.

was a relatively early EGLD holder, but never got “into the ecosystem”. So far I’m semi impressed with xPortal. Low cost in app swaps work well, decent basket of available MultiversX tokens, gamified loops, etc. Have you tried it? To your point, tho - when this stuff changes hands, it’s always hit/miss.
