if you don't have your ENS linked here, why not?

Yeah I also don’t seem to understand the incentive as to why I might do so. My username is effectively the same as my ENS, except it would add a .eth at the end… which just makes it longer unnecessarily.

Now if there was some kind of meaning behind the switch, then I would consider it.

I might not be comprehending the “for those who do look at the chain” part of this breakdown.

I thought that no matter what, your Farcaster username still exists. Wouldn’t it still pop up on-chain even if you decided to use your ENS?

I imagine it's varies greatly person to person, but I chose to link mine because I already have some connection to it and know that other ppl know me by it in other contexts

so I know the end result is a more consolidated notion of 'me' within farcaster (for those who do look at the chain)
