🇷🇺🤝🇰🇵 Putin Gifts Lion and Bears to North Korea’s Zoo

⏺In a symbolic gesture of deepening ties, Russian President Vladimir Putin has gifted over 70 animals, including a lion and two brown bears, to North Korea’s main zoo. 

⏺Delivered via cargo plane by Russia’s environment minister Alexander Kozlov, the shipment also included yaks, cockatoos, pheasants, and mandarin ducks.

⏺This move comes as both countries strengthen their alliance amid Western sanctions. Recently, North Korea reportedly sent troops to support Russia in Ukraine, while Russia offers space technology that could aid North Korea’s missile program.
