how do people make restaurants reservations in nyc these days

1) lookup when times r released on resy. be stay awake right when they drop

2) set notifs for preferred times in case anything opens up. bots usually get these tho if good restaurant

3) pay to play. Dorsia, artemis. TableOne is free and solid

4) walk in when they open and put name down

TLDR. currently getting good reservations is a shitty experience

yea its brutal out here. honestly, i have the most success just walking in if party is small enough
