What I find interesting is that when you talk to VCs who have decently large portfolios ($500m+), they all tell you NOT to take VC funding. It's interesting lol!

I’ve noticed this too… they always say “kick the can” down the road until the business is more established then get VC. You think they say this to get more value out of a business? And when do you think is the right time to get VC funding in a businesses’s life cycle?

i think vcs want a 50x+ return on their investment the right time to get VC funding is dependent on the founder and industry i think
