That was interesting and well-done. The cat-eating is clickbait, honestly, but the journalism itself was done well and there are many problems in that town that need to be fixed. Just that most people won't watch the whole thing or just the very beginning (which is click-bait too), so their take away will be to focus on the silly "cat-eating" phenomenon which doesn't seem to exist. There could have been an isolated incident with a cat, and there was at least one of someone killing a goose, but it's all blown out of proportion. The problems need to be addressed, so the focus shouldn't be on the cat-eating nonsense. It just makes people hate. Hopefully most people take the time to watch the whole video, but I don't have my hopes up for that.

There have been a few events. The point is zero native us citizens in Springfield are happy. Crime is up. Car accidents are thru the roof. Housing cost are up because the govt pays for them. Benefit lines and resources are thin because the handouts doubled or tripled or quadrupled. And a few animals may have gotten killed but it’s not the point.

No, it's not the point and that was my point. But most people who see this video's headlines won't even watch the video and then just focus on the cat-eating crap. I wish I knew what percentage of people ever read even part of an article or watch a video. Obviously, you watched it, but I don't have faith in the rest of society. But in any case, I hope some of these problems can be dealt with in this town. It made me sad to see what is happening. But I do also know that you need that attention bait to get anyone to pay attention to something - there are just too many "things" vying for our attention these days.
