Smart Wallets only serve people who have never used crypto They don't serve 99% of people who have been onchain before and are active onchain daily or weekly If we want Smart Wallets to get adopted then we should make them work for the people that are actually active onchain

I think smart wallets are very important for getting someone started or close to starting to use crypto quickly and without worrying about a seedphrase or private key. It is well understood that many avoid crypto because of securing keys. Crypto natives will know to use multisigs or something more secure.

If you donโ€™t care about the security of a particular wallet as a crypto native, then you know youโ€™re getting benefits from a smart wallet such as easily signing messages (and more secure than standard EOA) and paymasters, which are going to be prevalent in the future where organizations care to encourage use of their product or service by sponsoring gas. These are really important benefits, and crypto natives will only continue to take advantage of smart wallets by increasing their functionality, because they are after all a contract rather than EOA.
