Forreal. I love the story of how David Chase got the idea to cast him for the role of Silvio. 

If you like him I’d highly recommend his autobiography on audiobook Unrequited Infatuations. Mostly about his music career. He reads the entire thing and it’s such a pleasure

I watched it.  Super fun.  You could put
Stevie Van Zandt on a short list of great entertainers.   Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.  And as an accomplished actor and central character in one of the greatest dramas of all time.  And never had any acting experience.   Great call 🫡
