I just witnessed an advertisement on Bloomberg that I'm somewhat convinced was an AI generation of a guy at a table with coffee and a generated voice synced to it to talk about their product. The motions had subtle weirdness to it that triggered my uncanny valley effect.

It probably was. Lots of agencies started using those types of products.
