The NFT project CyberKongz revealed that it received a Wells notice from the U.S. SEC. The SEC's concerns relate to CyberKongz's ties to blockchain games and ERC-20 tokens, particularly the Genesis Kongz contract migration in 2021. CyberKongz plans to contest the notice and advocate for clearer regulatory guidelines for NFT projects.
