@tristan-daylight I’m seeing some YouTube/X based hardware teams try out sharing their manufacturing and procurement process as additional marketing. How does daylight think about engaging its audience through sharing the hardware design process?

I think that is a great idea! We fully believe in transparency + having our community build along with us. We see a great opportunity to do this on the software side, but as well on the hardware are definitely going to be sharing more insight into our display technology soon. And when we develop roadmap products (ie v2 tablet, phone, etc) that is when we can really involve the community in hardware development. Do you have any thoughts as the best way to do this or what you think works very well and is authentic?

I like following along someone like the Head of HW @ Limitless. He drops manufacturer visit pics and then specific HW mftg knowledge from his career without getting too invasive in company IP. Some teams do this through GitHub or YouTube The teardown library piques my interest. We don’t have something similar in NY afaik although we have a lively HW scene (102 meetups at one I frequent). I’d be down experimenting on this for NY https://x.com/coffeewithjer https://teardownlibrary.com/
