One of the most powerful ideas from crypto is the retroactive airdrop ie where every single one of your users or potential users is known and can be reached with incentives or offers. What if we could extend that to the entirety of all people, places, and things on the internet?

Interested to see @rvreth and @eulerlagrange.eth getting some more support in CSX with @vlayer and /opacity Big unlock for onboarding and adoption. I think it may even be a lever for persuading web2 companies to adopt some onchain protocols a bit sooner than expected

@camp-l2 pushing into the space too. Glad to see the area heating up. Reward people for what they’ve already done. Provide rails to continue being rewarded.

“persuading web2 companies to adopt some onchain protocols a bit sooner than expected”… Millions of businesses used to pay Google billions of extra dollars each year to use AdWords simply as a FE for placing display ads. They wanted to do ads, didn’t have the knowledge / time to place directly thru exchange, and were happy to pay a premium for someone to do it for them. I think it’ll be web3 companies that abstract away the onchain protocols so web2 companies can do “ads” in a nice web2 FE like AdWords.
