ok so I’m seeing that a counter argument is that the money part of crypto is not the leading argument anymore, but it’s the backend tech that will allow for a democratic internet. I’m all for that, but here I am trying to set up a Coinbase wallet and I want to blow my brains out. After jumping through every hoop successfully now it says “something went wrong” and to make sure I have the most updated version. I do. Shoot me. If the tech can’t be used by idiots like me, how is it gonna scale in a world filled with idiots?

Funny counterpoint: I'm team, "the blockchain isn't for humans". I think blockchains will likely serve bots and A.I.s as a majority of chain interactions pretty soon. As humanity gets faster and more mechanized, I think it's a wildly incorrect assumption that the direct users teams need to be building for are humans. Everything from cars to planes are already "fly by wire" where the products are just wrappers over a much larger interface managed by programs. I think your finances are already near if not already at that point. A.I.s and programs will probably be 1000x the size of human actors. The blockchain might not be for you, or anyone else for that matter.
