I also hate the notion that the valuation was wrong and they oversold to VCs. They were valued exactly at what an NFT team trying to make a sidechain at exactly the moment when everyone knew NFTs were dead. I can't imagine what those conversations were like. Sometimes VCs actually do make wildly longtail bets on mispriced teams, and win.
