You’re anxious because you’re in a rush. You’re in a rush because you lack consistency. You lack consistency because you aren’t regulating your emotions well.

And maybe also your emotions are hard to regulate because your biochemistry is out of balance.

To expand, it is almost never helpful to believe you have a brain chemistry issue, regardless of whether it’s true or not.

Say more. I don't think it's a bad thing to acknowledge that I might be working from a disadvantage because neurotransmitters are out of balance. I don't lack desire to do things, I lack motivation to do them and/or the sheer force to overcome the physical weight of the moment. So I prefer to address that first.

I can’t speak on your experience, but I know every person alive feels disadvantaged and like things are harder for them. I also know believing you are disadvantaged is one of the biggest disadvantages you can have.

I appreciate that you're trying to promote perspective as an important tool, and I agree that it's useful. It's hard not to read it as "you're only struggling because you've labeled yourself as a person who struggles", which I think is broadly dismissive. So I disagree there and that's okay.
