Many projects assume that users don’t care about decentralization, which causes them to abandon it and shift towards centralized solutions. I believe we should take a similar approach to what Apple did with privacy. In Apple’s early days, privacy wasn’t a big concern for most users, and their marketing efforts around it didn’t gain much traction. However, when users became more tech-savvy and started valuing privacy, Apple’s products were the first choice because they had been building with privacy in mind all along. I believe decentralization will follow a similar path in the crypto world. When users eventually demand more control over their data and assets, projects that stayed true to decentralization will be the ones people turn to.
