l2 roadmap is going bad not because chains cannot interop but because chains don't want to interop everyone is building walled gardens so they capture the most $$$ when each chain projects "TVL" as the north star metric, nobody wants to support multichain interop projects anymore literally >1000 EVM chains on mainnet right now, most of them would kill for higher TVL - interop roadmap kills it interop will happen regardless, but its not going to be easy.

I truly believe the only way to fix the broken EF capital allocation is by making them expendable. It's our responsibility to cultivate a thriving ecosystem that isn't dependent on a single, centralised source of funding. I've criticised them—will keep doing so—but the real Cypherpunk move here is surviving without the EF, like Vyper has shown over the years. What that Cypherpunk move looks like will vary for each project, though.
