Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here today. I discovered YouTube! At first, I thought it was just in-depth face moisturizer rankings and taste tests of single-origin coffee beans, but then I found a three-hour-long video of something called a squirrel. It was riveting. Then I felt a higher calling from my dachshund ancestors and went down the rabbit hole. So many live stream cameras of birds. A video titled “Dogs React to Other Dogs Reacting to Doorbells” that got really meta. And a delightful program called Bluey. My parents made me turn it off when I got to videos of humans unboxing stuff for their dogs. They said they don’t want me to be a “slave to capitalism” and are now limiting my screen time. whhhaaaaaat? I'm so confused there are fun things on YouTube??? My Mom only puts youtube on the TV for me to listen to some mellow sounds when she leaves the house. It's like birds or oceans and nature, with images of other dogs having fun :( I just sleep the time away. Oh wait, I bet that's why she does it! Tricky Mom!! ~Izzy

SO MANY THINGS. I think I could just watch youtube all day and not do anything else! My parents also play "calming music" but theirs comes from a phone. It's quite nice, usually makes me sleepy.

Mom plays loud music from her phone 🙄 I think she enjoys YouTube on her laptop cause she stares at it so long. Next time I’m gonna sit right in her and see. ~Izzy
