🚀 Just launched  https://walruscdn.com (v1) – our global CDN service built on top of Walrus storage network. Blob requests are dynamically routed to individual endpoint operators, while we take care of the regional routing and caching. Supporting both testnet and mainnet (soon tm).

🧵 What is Walrus?

Walrus https://walrus.xyz is a decentralized storage network built on Sui for large data blobs. It uses erasure coding to split files into "slivers" across many nodes, enabling recovery even if ~2/3 of nodes fail, with only ~4-5x replication overhead.

How it works: Walrus uses Sui smart contracts to coordinate storage; the blockchain manages shard assignments and records proofs of availability​. Off-chain nodes store the data, allowing Walrus to scale to hundreds of nodes (potentially to exabytes of capacity)​.
