Maybe more concretely: in order to determine that @dwr is who he represents to be, and @drw is impersonating dwr, you require dwr to submit ID docs (either to u or a service provider). But i don think you want to submit your ID image to some random social media platform or the third party they contracted, if you can avoid it.
