Things change fast and that contributes to some churn when money freebies dry up. I think FC is best for creators and the crypto curious. It can't be all about the money or it might as well be a casino. Nothing is guaranteed to make money, but for creators and the curious, there's a lot to do and be part of.

I wonder if there's a distinction between a groupon club and a casino. Groupons kind of found a bad equilibrium, with only crappy products needing to offer discounts to the most transactional disloyal customers. They weren't able to differentiate the attractive customers who just need a little boost to try a real value-add product, from the scavengers and tourists (non-repeat users, by definition). I think crypto + farcaster can solve this, with reputation and a good balance of anti-sybil and new user welcome. But it hasn't made enough strides in exploring this yet, imo.
