If I only had a week (of my time) with that power I would probably be more of a timeline vigilante than just a mystery explorer, though I would be interested in dispelling incorrect knowledge if I had more (of my) time. I would likely go back and "distract" certain people's parents from being physically together at a crucial time to prevent the world from being blighted with their birth. Probably starting with someone who reminds me of a Cheeto. I think the world would be a better place had some people never been able to exert their influence on it. But if I didn't feel compelled to fix things, I'd like to be witness to things like the big bang, prehistoric earth, the Golden Ages of Greece, Rome and Persia, and see 100 or 1000 years in the future to see if we manage to get out of the messes we're in now.
