I didn’t realize fashion contributes so much waste. I tend to wear the same clothes for years and then donate or repurpose them. I do however think that manufacturers should be more responsible with all of their products entire shelf life. we need to start thinking in longer more sustainable scales across the board. what is the environmental impact of fast *anything*? fast food, fast fashion, are we just hastening our own demise? thoughts I’m contemplating here in the garden 🌱🌀🫶 “Clothes piling up in your closet? This is a great topic! I'm with you. I buy brands that last, and send accessories in for repairs if possible. I thrift shop for certain things. Companies should do more. Sustainability should be built into their plans and cultures. Some practices I hear about are outrageous and prioritize profit over wellness - of employees, customers and the environment. I'm ready to try something different.
