Yes and soon we'll get rid of "onchain" and it'll work in the background doing what's expected (maybe more) like any program, money or network.

one day "onchain [thing]" will sound as antiquated (2000s) as "online shopping" or "online marketing"

Good point. Onchain is a complicated term for someone outside of crypto. Until onchain becomes widely understood, maybe we explore words that make the point. For example: onchain wallet/tx = public wallet/tx Considering what would be most important for someone to understand about a certain onchain product/service.

The challenge is always being close enough to the audience you're hoping to reach/influence to be seen as a leader vs being so far out there ahead that you're seen as a crazy person 😉 I think Onchain may be a useful/helpful step on the adoption journey, where it has enough 'otherness' to allow people to feel it as new/different/etc without sounding so complicated/other as to be frightening Ofc the biggest boon to adoption? Getting people paid 😉
