I’m bullish on FC because people can build on the graph without permission. A Twitter alternative is a very good seed (if not the best), but IMO what will bring the next 100k users is a cultural experience they cannot get elsewhere. This might be a few web2 derivative apps, but more likely, a novel web3 one.

Easy to say, of course. If I were building a FC derivative atm, I'd do: 1. Spaces/clubhouse: There are many accomplished and interesting casters. People will sign up to listen to them. I'd make interviews a thing. 2. Reddit: Current FC could support AI/crypto/NFTs subs. DAO functionality could be a feature.

yes. would add: 1. spaces is much easier to do, most people don’t understand what clubhouse is (including twitter) and it’s much harder to reimplement 2. clubhouse has spent a year building this, audio-first; it’s the right way to go
