Thanks, it's a great piece. Population growth has historically been a good thing. However, imagine a constant population going forward; would there remain optimal avenues for prosperity, productivity, etc.? Obviously, in the limit, population growth cannot always be good (probably before we are shoulder-to-shoulder).

I like the thought of a self sustaining constant population, but equilibrium is hard to sustain outside of a laboratory. Given that, itβs gotta be better to have a growing population than a shrinking one.
