I think just us. IMHO coexistence/transformation dreams are rooted in a reticence or inability to extrapolate a future that is so disagreeable. It is why most people did nothing to prepare for covid when sufficient information made it clear that it would be a global pandemic.

I can see that I think of it more like we either A. Work like dogs to make AI useful and as minimally destructive as possible and avoid the infinite loss scenario B. We don’t do enough and actually do die If B, being anxious for the next few decades just makes us miserable before we die 🤷‍♂️
