Should we rebrand Warpcast to Farcaster?

We separated Warpcast (the app) from Farcaster (the protocol) a few years ago. 

We've heard from many new users that this is very, very confusing. People hear about Farcaster, search in the app store, can't find anything called Farcaster and then churn.

A potential simplification

*For users*
Farcaster - social networking app you can download in the app store

It's has a lot of cryptonative and crypto curious people. A lot of people building new stuff. There's a feed, messaging, an integrated wallet and mini-apps.

*For developers*

It's built on an open, permissionless decentralized system that any developer can access. 

And if you build a mini-app for Farcaster, other apps with lots of users (i.e. crypto wallets) can easily showcase your app in their app—massively increasing your distribution with no additional work from you. 

Ship once, be everywhere.

seems like a lot of effort and energy to rename like that. you could just start calling the project warpcast and people would catch on

farcaster is def a better name but warpcast is prob more accessible as the name of a social app

real ones would still know farcaster is the protocol

was just saying you could start referring to the project generically as warpcast, instead of farcaster/warpcast/merkle

and I think that would solve the churn issue mentioned

If anything the other way around.

Can't just rename the whole protocol to Warpcast like that (and imo Warpcast is the worse name of the two)
