i was really into tokenset/index coop in the early days of defi. it was the easiest way to get my friends in too. instead of telling them to buy a bunch of tokens, they could just grab an index and get exposure to different tokens based on their risk level

surprised i’m not seeing more models like those today, especially with how much improvement we've had with onboarding and gas costs

integrated some set products into smart contracts at my previous project. good and early project, but the market was/isn't big enough to support the kind of strategies they built b/c they require a lot of maintenance and onchain mgmt costs

obviously gas costs not really an issue anymore, but there still are many ways to get tripped up building these dynamic strategies: building on upgradeable protocols, relying on tokens with shifting liquidity, etc
