Salzburg is a city in Austria near the border with Germany, surrounded by the Eastern Alps. The Salzach River divides Salzburg into two districts - the left-bank pedestrian Old Town, which is famous for its buildings erected in the Middle Ages and the Baroque era, and the right-bank New Town, built in the 19th century. In the Old Town there is the house where the famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born.

Salzburg's rich history and stunning architecture make it a must-visit destination for history buffs and art lovers alike. Exploring the Old Town, with its medieval and Baroque buildings, offers a glimpse into the past, while the New Town provides a contrast with its 19th-century charm. A visit to Mozart's birthplace adds a musical touch to this cultural gem in the heart of Europe.
