How do you stay focused? I have so many things to do and so many ideas, but I just can't start. Every time I want to start working, I keep getting distracted. In the last two weeks, I’ve done absolutely nothing, and I kind of hate myself for it. think I need help or I'm going downhill

For me at least, there are two things that cause this: A. I'm worried I'm going to forget a good idea B. I'm worried I'm not working on the right idea What I find works: 1. Create an ideas journal. Paper or electronic. 2. 1 bullet point per idea. Keep it simple. One font/size/color/etc. 3. Get everything out of your brain. Nest bullet points under each idea where necessary. 1-3 could take days. When you're done, (A) will be addressed. Now that your mind is clear: 5. Decide goals: do something creative? do something profitable? within what time frame? how much $$$ are you willing to spend? 5. Go through each idea and rate them against (5). All of them. Otherwise problem (B) remains. 6. For every 100 ideas, maybe 1 or 2 will qualify. If not, your goals were too broad or you weren't strict enough in your assessment. 7. Now pick 1. If you're still unsure, pick 2 and take 1-7 days to test each. It won't be overwhelming because you're just testing the waters. Thanks for attending my talk.

Break it down to smaller things then put a deadline on each. That deadline thing is useful for me. Using a pomodoro method helps me sometimes too. If distractions are the problem, use it as a reward. Every time you finish a small task, reward yourself with the ‘distraction’

It's very challenging not to get sidetracked and to work step by step, and I believe that's what makes the strength of the anemale project. We are two artists, two friends, bound together. We make all our decisions together and reflect on them as a team. Sometimes I am the creative force and he is the strategist, and other times we exchange roles. This is what propels us forward and helps us evolve. I understand that it can be difficult to progress when you're alone.

Look into GTD (getting things done) Compile lists. Organize them. Spend time planning and then do tasks…

Hey there! I was browsing profiles and came across yours. 😊 Do you create schedules? Sorting tasks by priority can make you feel urgent. Focus on the most important tasks rather than trying to do everything at once. What makes you distracted? You should be aware of your distractions. Minimize or eliminate those distractions. Do you love what you are doing? Passion for a task can help you with focus and productivity. I hope these tips will be helpful to you! 💟

It's hard. I find that reducing interruptions goes a long way. Leave your phone in another room or turn it off. Don't have social media or YouTube open on your computer. Take a ten minute break to walk around and have a light snack each hour. Only work on one problem at a time. Check emails twice a day.

It can be frustrating feeling like this, and in a way, I feel the same way. I have so many projects that haven't been completed either. I found that working on the essentials is helping a lot: health, mental health, family, exercise and nutrition. Ambition is a great quality to have, but working on the essentials will help in the long run.

Hmmm try doing something thats so simple you can’t not do it because of laziness, that gets you closer to the goal you want. Every day if you’re a lettering artist draw just one letter, for example. With drawing for example,

Make the list and try to break it down. Dont do everything at once tho. Go to coffee shop or somewhere else which you could stay focused mate. It happens to everybody so you are fine.
