People don’t want to see uninteresting replies and casts.

Best way to solve for that is weight historical inbound engagement for a user, i.e. PageRank-like score for every user.

Disproportionally hurts new accounts. Making it harder to get started.

“uninteresting replies” has to be weighted, context based & user decided or else its damn near impossible to not get wrong unless its objective spam. 

w/ tips & their acknowledgments (a huge catalyst for recent growth) this is counter to the vibe.
