This reminds me of a recent article about the discovery of ancient rock carvings at the bottom of the amazon river. It's interesting to see the artwork of people from a couple of thousand years ago, but concerning when I think about the connection to climate change.

Nobody I’ve met in climate science believes we’ll stay within 2°C of warming by 2100, let alone 1.5°C. We’re supposed to reduce GHG by 43% by 3020, and the current NDCs put us on track to 3% (+/- 3 p.p.). We’re at the tail end of the fuck around era. We’re less than a decade away from the find out part.
