The question is simple. Do you think Base should make a token?

The argument has always been that Coinbase wouldn’t want to take on that regulatory burden. 

But with Trump launching a fucking memecoin, the game has kinda changed.

I’m conflicted. Part of what makes Base appealing is the fact that it doesn’t have a native token. It’s easier for newbies to understand (imo). 

But, I know a Base token would ignite a ton of additional activity on the network and probably be a big net positive.

The worthless coins that are born I often call them junk money. It only has value in the beginning. Those who come in later will easily fall into the trap.
